Warning Labels

Warning: Extreme Hazard: NEVER use a rearward facing child restraint on a seat protected by an ACTIVE AIRBAG in front of it. DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY to the Child can occur. Child Seats – ISOFIX Installation

Coupe – All markets with ISOFIX Front seat.
Always follow the child seat manufacturer’s instructions. Not following the child seat manufacturer’s instructions when installing the child seat is dangerous.

  1. Special positioning requirements are needed for the front passenger seat (Refer to ’Front Seats’, page 3.28)
  2. When a child seat is installed to the rear seat using ISOFIX, you must move the seat directly in front of the child seat to its fully forward and highest position. Move the back of the seat to its fully forward position. The back of the seat must be moved with the seat control switch and not the seat release strap. The front seat should also NOT be occupied. (Refer to ’Rear Passenger Seat Installation’, page 3.32).
  3. When a child seat is installed to the rear seat using ISOFIX, you must move the seat directly in front of the child seat to its fully forward and lowest position. Move the back of the seat directly in front of the child seat to an upright position.

  1. When a child seat is installed to the rear seat using ISOFIX, you must move the seat directly in front of the child seat to its fully forward and highest position. Suitable Child Seat: At the time of publishing the recommended ISOFIX Child Safety seats are:

Forward facing Group I (Size Class B1): Brit ax VERSAFIX and Brit ax TRIFIX.
IL: Suitable for particular ISOFIX Child Restraint Systems (CRS) given in the attached list. These ISOFIX CRS are those of the ‘specific vehicle’, ‘restricted’, or ‘semi-universal’ categories.

Suitable Child Seat: At the time of publishing the recommended ISOFIX Child Safety seats are:
Rear-facing Group 0 & 0+ (Size Class E): Brit ax Baby Safe plus SHRII with ISOFIX adaptor base. X: ISOFIX position not suitable for ISOFIX child restraint systems in this mass group or this size class. Supplied under ECE Regulation 16.
