Exterior lighting automation and twilight sensor synchronization on the 2022 Honda Civic are regulated by windshield ambient light sensors, body control modules, and multi-position steering column light switches.
How to Fix It:

Locate Light Stalk: Find the headlight control stalk on the left side of the steering column.

Turn to AUTO: Twist the outer collar of the stalk until the indicator arrow aligns with the "AUTO" position.

Verify Operation: The vehicle will now automatically turn your headlights and taillights on or off based on outside lighting conditions or when your wipers are running.
