How to Open the Fuel Door

Step 1: Unlock all vehicle doors using the key fob, driver door power switch, or Smart Entry touch sensor.

Step 2: Walk to the left rear fender (driver side) of the vehicle.

Step 3: Push the rear edge of the fuel door inward and release; the door will spring open.
How to Refuel (Capless Filler System)

Step 1: Insert the gas station pump nozzle straight into the capless filler neck until it latches past the inner safety flapper.

Step 2: Fill the tank. When the nozzle automatically shuts off, wait 5 to 10 seconds before removing it to allow residual fuel to drain into the tank.

Step 3: Pull the nozzle straight out and push the fuel door shut until it clicks flush with the body line.
Caution: Never attempt to force objects, funnel tubes, or non-standard fuel nozzles directly into the capless neck without using the official funnel, as this can damage the internal seal and trigger a Check Fuel Cap / EVAP error message.
