The Fiat Sedici (2006 – 2014) developed in partnership with Suzuki based on the SX4 platform houses two primary electrical power distribution panels along with high-amperage battery-mounted fusible links: the Passenger Compartment Interior Fuse Box located underneath the driver-side dashboard and the Main Underhood Fuse Box inside the engine compartment. Standard mini blade fuses, J-Case cartridge fuses, MAXI fusible links, and system relays protect the vehicle's electrical components across these panels.
Fuse Box Locations & Access
-
Passenger Compartment Fuse Box (Interior Dashboard):
-
Location: Positioned on the lower left-hand side of the dashboard in the driver-side footwell / kick panel area (below the steering column and main hood release lever).
-
Access: Remove the lower dashboard access panel cover door by pulling it straight out or unlatching the side retainers. A circuit allocation diagram legend is printed on the inside surface of the cover.
-
-
Engine Compartment Fuse & Relay Box (Underhood):
-
Location: Mounted on the left-hand side (driver side) of the engine bay, situated adjacent to the battery housing and air intake cleaner box.
-
Access: Unclip the two side retaining tabs on the black plastic box lid and lift straight off. Spare fuses and a plastic fuse extraction tool are mounted on the underside of the lid.
-
-
Battery Terminal Fusible Link Block:
-
Location: Mounted directly on the positive (+) battery terminal post in the engine compartment.
-
Access: Unclip the red protective plastic cover to inspect high-amperage bolt-in main fusible links supplying primary power feeds to the alternator, ignition switch, ABS pump, and diesel glow plug controller.
