The Fiat Punto (2013 – 2018) utilizes up to three electrical power distribution centers depending on the vehicle specification and trim level: the Passenger Compartment Fuse Box located under the dashboard on the driver's side, the Engine Compartment Fuse & Relay Box next to the battery, and an auxiliary fuse block located in the luggage compartment near the battery or body control module. Standard mini blade fuses, J-Case cartridge fuses, MAXI links, and system relays protect the vehicle's electrical architecture.
Fuse Box Locations & Access
-
Passenger Compartment Fuse Box (Interior Dashboard):
-
Location: Positioned on the lower left-hand side of the dashboard in the driver-side footwell, situated behind the steering column and lower trim panel.
-
Access: Remove the lower plastic access cover or loosen the retaining xxxx /clips to fold down the fuse panel door. A fuse assignment layout decal is printed on the reverse side of the cover.
-
-
Engine Compartment Fuse & Relay Box (Underhood):
-
Location: Located on the left side (driver side on LHD models) of the engine bay, adjacent to the battery housing and air intake assembly.
-
Access: Release the two side retaining latches on the black plastic protective box cover and lift straight up. Spare fuses and a plastic fuse extraction tool are housed inside the underside of the lid.
-
-
Luggage Compartment / Battery Auxiliary Fuse Box:
-
Location: Positioned in the boot / trunk area or directly adjacent to the auxiliary battery terminal (on Start&Stop equipped models).
-
Access: Open the rear tailgate, lift the carpet floor panel or side access door, and unclip the protective plastic cover housing high-amperage body system fuses.
