The LCD display modes can be changed by using the control buttons.

Driving assist view
This mode displays the state of:
- Lane Keeping Assist Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist Smart Cruise Control Lane Following Assist Highway Driving Assist
Navigation view
This mode displays the Navigation sta-tus.
Utility information view
Current Driving Info
- Current Trip
The driver’s door is opened after turning off the vehicle or the vehicle is turned on after 3 minutes have passed, the Drive Info screen will reset.
Fuel economy
- Current Trip
Average Fuel Economy
- The average fuel economy is calculated by the total driving distance and fuel consumption since the last aver-age fuel economy reset.
- Fuel economy range: 0 – 99.9 MPG or L/100km, km/L
- The average fuel economy can be reset both manually and automati-cally.
NOTICE
The average fuel economy is not dis-played for more accurate calculation if the vehicle does not drive more than 10 seconds or 300 meters (0.19 miles) after the ENGINE START/STOP button is turned to ON.
Instant Fuel Economy
- This mode displays the instant fuel economy during the last few seconds when the vehicle speed is more than 8 km/h (5 MPH).
- Fuel economy range: 0–50 MPG or 0–30 L/100km, km/L

Sine Refueling

The information after charging. To manually reset the information, press and hold the OK button when viewing the Sine Refueling.
Accumulated Info
- Since Last Reset
The information is accumulated starting from the last reset.
To manually reset the information, press and hold the OK button when viewing the Since Last Reset.
NOTICE
- The vehicle must be driven for a minimum of 300 meters (0.19 miles) since the last cycle before the accumulated driving information is recalculated.
- The average energy economy is not displayed for more accurate calculation if the vehicle is not drive more than 10 seconds or 50 meters (0.03
Master warning mode
- Check headlamp LED
This mode informs you of the following situations:
- Driver assistance system malfunction, limitation or radar/camera blockage
- LED headlamp malfunction
- Lamp malfunction
- TPMS failure, low tire pressure, etc. A Master Warning icon ( )will appear in the lower right corner on the LCD dis-play. If the warning situation is resolved, the master warning light will be turned off and the Master Warning icon will dis-appear.

LCD display messages
Door, hood, trunk, sunroof open
- This warning is displayed indicating which door, the hood, the trunk or the sunroof is open.
NOTICE
Before driving the vehicle, you should confirm that the door/hood/trunk/sun-roof is fully closed. Also, check there is no door/hood/trunk/sunroof open warn-ing light or message displayed on the instrument cluster.
Lights mode

This indicator displays which exterior light is selected using the lighting con-trol.
Wiper mode
- Front Wiper
This indicator displays which wiper speed is selected using the wiper con-trol.
Engine Overheated
- Engine Overheated
- This warning message appears when the engine coolant temperature is above 120 °C (248 °F). This means that the engine is overheated and may be damaged.
- If your vehicle has overheated, refer to “If the engine overheats” on page 7-6.
Low engine oil
- This warning message appears when the engine oil level is insufficient.
- Refill the engine oil.

WARNING
When the engine oil level warning light occurs, it is necessary to check whether maintenance schedule (Engine oil replacement) in owner’s manual has been followed before replenishing the oil, and if not followed, the engine oil must be replaced first.
Engine oil change due soon. Reset oil life after oil change
- This warning message appears when the remaining engine oil life reaches 5% or below.
- Replace engine oil from an authorized Kia dealer. After that, select Setup → Vehicle → Convenience → Oil Change Reminder from Settings menu on the infotainment system screen to reset the remaining oil life.

- This warning message appears when the remaining engine oil life reaches 1% or below.
- Replace engine oil immediately from an authorized Kia dealer. After that, select Setup →Vehicle → Conve-nience → Oil Change Reminder from Settings menu on the infotainment system screen to reset the remaining oil life.

Low key battery (for smart key system)
- This warning message appears if the battery of the smart key is discharged when the ENGINE START/STOP but-ton changes to the OFF position.
Key not in vehicle (for smart key system)
- This warning message appears if the smart key is not in the vehicle when you press the ENGINE START/STOP button.
- It means that you should always have the smart key with you.
Key not detected (for smart key system)
- This warning message appears if the smart key is not detected when you press the ENGINE START/STOP but-ton.
Shift to P or N to start engine (for smart key system)
- This warning message appears if you try to start the engine with the shift lever not in the P (Park) or N (Neutral) position.
Press brake pedal to start engine (for smart key system)
- This warning message appears if the ENGINE START/STOP button changes to the ACC position twice by pressing the button repeatedly without depressing the brake pedal.
- It means that you should depress the brake pedal to start the engine.
Battery discharging due to exter-nal electrical devices
The vehicle can detect self-discharge of the battery due to over-current that is generated by unauthorized electrical devices such as dashboard camera (dash cam) mounting during parking. If the warning continues even after external electrical devices are removed, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
Press start button again (for smart key system)
- This warning message appears if you cannot operate the ENGINE START/STOP button when there is a problem with the ENGINE START/STOP button system.
- It means that you could start the engine by pressing the ENGINE START/STOP button once more.
- If the warning appears each time you press the ENGINE START/STOP but-ton, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
Press start button with key (for smart key system)
- This warning message appears if you press the ENGINE START/STOP but-ton while the warning message “Key not detected” is illuminating.
- At this time, the immobilizer indicator light blinks.
Headlights are off
- This warning message appears if the headlights are off when the surround-ing is dark.
