Compressed Audio Compatibility

Only the first 32 characters can be displayed as a file name (including the file extension) or a folder name.
The unit may not work properly depending on the application used to encode WMA files.
There may be a slight delay at the start of the playback of audio files embedded with image data, or audio files stored on a USB device with numerous folder hierarchies.

To remove the fuel filler cap:

  1. Open the cover on the cap. Insert the key into the key hole of the cap securely and then turn it counterclockwise to unlock.
  2. Remove the key.
  3. Remove the cap by holding the upper portion of the cap securely and turning it counterclockwise.

CAUTION
Remove the fuel filler cap slowly. The fuel may be under pressure and may spray out, causing injury.Suzuki New CARRY 2019 Compatibility User Manual 07

NOTE:
The cap holder (1) holds the fuel filler cap by hooking the hook (2) when refueling.

To install the fuel filler cap:

  1. Hold the upper portion of the cap securely and turn the cap clockwise until you hear several clicks.
  2. Open the cover on the cap. Insert the key into the key hole of the cap securely and then turn the cap clock-wise to lock.
  3. Remove the key.
  4. Make sure you hear several clicks when turning the cap counterclockwise. The clicks mean that the cap is locked.

WARNING
Fuel is extremely flammable. Do not smoke when refueling, and make sure there are no open flames or sparks in the area.
If you need to replace the fuel cap, use a genuine SUZUKI cap. Use of an improper cap can result in a malfunction of the fuel system or emission control system. It may also result in fuel leakage in the event of an accident.

To open the engine compartment:

  1. Raise the driver’s seat belt buckle (1) to the seatback position. Store the passenger’s seat belt buckle (2) as shown in the illustration.
  2. For the driver’s seat, slide the seat to the most rearward position.

CAUTION
When you slide the driver’s seat rear-ward, push the seatback.
If you hold the seatback top, your hand could be pinched between the seatback and wall, which may result in personal injury.

  1. For the driver’s seat, pull the lock lever
  2. Forward to fold the seatback.
  3. Raise the carpet (4) and then unhook the lock handles (5) on the front end of each seat.

  • To unhook the lock handle, pull the “PULL” part (6) and unhook the ring (7) from the hook (8).
    To lock the lock handle, put the ring (7) on the hook (8) and then push the “PUSH” part (9).

  • Raise the seat and hook the strap attached on the back wall to the hook  (11) is not used.

NOTICE
Do not hook the strap to the driver’s seat position adjustment lever or do not apply undue force to the seats when the seats are hooked being hooked by the straps. Doing so could break the straps, hooks and/or the driver’s seat position adjustment lever.

  1. To close the engine compartment, take reverse order in which you open it.
  2. After closing, try to move the seats to ensure that it is securely latched.
  3.  Store the straps in place behind the driver’s and the passenger’s seat back as shown in the illustration.

WARNING
Store the straps in place behind the passenger’s seat back. If an occupant’s body gets caught by the straps, there is a risk of serious injury such as suffocation. If this happens, cut the straps with scissors.

CAUTION
When closing the engine compartment, be careful that the seats do not pinch your hands or the driver’s seat belt buckle, or hit your body.
Do not rapidly close the seats by releasing your hands halfway etc. Slowly close the seats, supporting them with your hands. Otherwise, you may get injured, or the seats or the other parts may be damaged.
