FUSES

Spare fuses are provided and can be found in the passenger compartment fuse box. When installing a fuse make sure the fuse is installed in the fuse box securely. ENGINE COMPARTMENT

WARNING Never use a fuse of a higher or lower amperage rating than that specified on the fuse box cover. This could damage the electrical system or electronic control units or cause a fire. If any electrical equipment does not come on, check for an open fuse.

  1. Be sure the ignition switch and the headlight switch are OFF.
  2. Open the engine hood.
  3. Remove the fuse box cover by pushing the tab and lifting the cover-up.

  5. If the fuse is open A, replace it with a new fuse B.
  6. If a new fuse also opens, have the electrical system checked and repaired. It is recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer for this service.

Fusible links If any electrical equipment does not operate and the fuses are in good condition, check the fusible links in the holder. If any of the fusible links are melted, replace them only with Genuine NISSAN parts. For checking and replacing the fusible links, it is recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer for this service. PASSENGER COMPARTMENT

WARNING Never use a fuse of a higher or lower amperage rating than that specified on the fuse box cover. This could damage the electrical system or electronic control units or cause a fire. If any electrical equipment does not operate, check for an open fuse. NOTE The fuse box is located on the left wall of the driver’s side foot well, below the fuel door and hood release levers.

  1. Be sure the ignition switch and the headlight switch are OFF.
  2. Remove the fuse box cover A with a suitable tool. Use a cloth to avoid damaging the trim.
  3. Locate the fuse that needs to be replaced.

  5. If the fuse is open C, replace it with an equivalent good fuse D.
  6. Push the fuse box cover to install.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT 2021 Nissan Kicks

CAUTION Be careful not to allow children to swallow the battery or removed parts.

  • An improperly disposed battery can harm the environment. Always confirm local regulations for battery disposal.
  • When changing batteries, do not let dust or oil get on the components.
  • There is danger of explosion if the lithium battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Fuse Diagrams and Realy 2021 Nissan Kicks Fuses NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY® fig 9 NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY® Replace the battery in the Intelligent Key as follows:

  1. Remove the mechanical key from the Intelligent Key.
  2. Insert a small flathead screwdriver A into the slit B of the corner and twist it to separate the upper part from the lower part. Place a cloth over the screwdriver to protect the casing.   3. Replace the battery with a new one. Recommended battery: CR2032 or equivalent.
    • Do not touch the internal circuit and electric terminals as doing so could cause a malfunction.
    • Hold the battery by the edges. Holding the battery across the contact points will seriously deplete the storage capacity.
    • Make sure that the + side faces the bottom of the lower part.
  4. Close the lid securely as illustrated with C and D.
  5. Operate the buttons to check the operation.

How to replace a Fuses of the 2021 Nissan Kicks fuse

  1. Seek out the fuse box.
    • The Nissan Kicks’ fuse box is usually in the engine compartment or inside the car, under the dashboard on the driver’s side.
  2. Open the fuse box top and look at the diagram inside.
    • This will help you find the blown fuse. This picture will show you where each fuse is and what it does. Find the fuse that goes with the machine that isn’t working right.
  3. Take out the blown fuse
    • Carefully take the blown fuse out of its hole using a fuse puller tool or a pair of needle-nose pliers. Be careful not to damage the switch box or the parts around it.
  4. Inspect the Fuse
    • Once the fuse is out of the way, look at it to make sure it is blown. Check this out by seeing the metal strip inside the fuse. The fuse is blown if it’s broken or melted.
  5. Replace the Fuse
    • Get a new fuse with the same amperage value as the old one. Carefully place the new fuse in the fuse box’s empty hole, making sure it stays in place.
  6. Close the cover on the fuse box
    • Once the new fuse is in place, safely close the cover on the fuse box.
  7. Test the System
    • Turn on your Nissan Kicks and test the system that wasn’t working right before to make sure the new fuse fixed the problem.
