Toyota Avalon 2020

The Toyota Avalon is a full-size car that is known for being comfortable, roomy, and high-end. Here’s what you need to know about the 2020 Toyota Avalon:

Power and performance: There were two engine choices for the 2020 Avalon. The base engine was a 3.5-liter V6 that made 301 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. A gearbox with eight speeds was paired with it. There was also a hybrid version, which had a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor working together to make a total of 215 horsepower. The fuel economy of the hybrid model was better.

Comfort and Interior: The Avalon put the comfort of its passengers first and had a large, high-end interior. It had room for five people, and both the front and back seats had plenty of space and headroom. The interior was made of high-quality materials and had comfortable, well-designed seats. There was leather seating, front seats that could be heated and cooled, and power-adjustable seats with memory settings.

Technology and Features: The 2020 Toyota Avalon had a number of high-tech features. It had a 9-inch tablet infotainment system that worked with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to make it easy to connect a smartphone. A premium JBL sound system, wireless smartphone charging, a head-up display, and a Wi-Fi hotspot were also offered. The Avalon also had a number of driver-assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking.

Design and style: The outside of the 2020 Avalon was sleek and classy. It had a bold front grille, LED headlights, and LED lamps that could be added. The design as a whole was sleek and modern, with a good mix of grace and sportiness.

Safety: Toyota put safety first when making the Avalon, which is why it has a full set of safety features. The Toyota Safety Sense-P suite, which included forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering aid, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control, came as a standard safety feature.

Overall, driving the 2020 Toyota Avalon was luxurious and comfy, and it had the latest technology and safety features. I suggest calling a Toyota dealership or going to the official Toyota website to get the most exact and up-to-date information.

Exhaust gas precautions

The harmful substance to the human body is included in exhaust gases if inhaled.

WARNING

Exhaust gases include harmful carbon monoxide (CO), which is colorless and odorless. Observe the following precautions. Failure to do so may cause exhaust gases to enter the vehicle and may lead to an accident caused by light-headedness, or may lead to death or a serious health hazard.

  • Important points while driving
    • Keep the trunk lid closed.
    • If you smell exhaust gases in the vehicle even when the trunk lid is closed, open the windows and have the vehicle inspected at your Toyota dealer as soon as possible.
  • When parking
    • If the vehicle is in a poorly ventilated area or a closed area, such as a garage, stop the engine.
    • Do not leave the vehicle with the engine on for a long time. If such a situation cannot be avoided, park the vehicle in an open space and ensure that exhaust fumes do not enter the vehicle’s interior.
    • Do not leave the engine running in an area with snow build-up, or where it is snowing. If snowbanks build up around the vehicle while the engine is running, exhaust gases may collect and enter the vehicle.
  • Exhaust pipe
The exhaust system needs to be checked periodically. If there is a hole or crack caused by corrosion, damage to a joint or abnormal exhaust noise, be sure to have the vehicle inspected and repaired by your Toyota dealer.

The following indicator light patterns indicate specific system usage conditions:

  • No indicator light (off) = Safety Connect service not active

Safety Connect services

  • Automatic Collision Notification
In case of either airbag deployment or severe rear-end collision, the system is designed to automatically call the response center. The responding agent receives the vehicle’s location and attempts to speak with the vehicle occupants to assess the level of emergency. If the occupants are unable to communicate, the agent automatically treats the call as an emergency, contacts the nearest emergency services provider to describe the situation, and requests that assistance be sent to the location.
  • Stolen Vehicle Location
If your vehicle is stolen, Safety Connect can work with local authorities to assist them in locating and recovering the vehicle. After filing a police report, call the Safety Connect response center at 1-855-
405- 6500 in the United States, and 1-877-855-8377 in Puerto Rico. 888-869-6828 in Canada, and follow the prompts for Safety Con-nect to initiate this service.
In addition to assisting law enforcement with the recovery of a stolen vehicle, Safety-Connect-equipped vehicle location data may, under certain circumstances, be shared with third parties to locate your vehicle. Further information is available at Toyota.com in the United States, Toyotapr.com in Puerto Rico, and Toyota.ca in Canada.
  • Emergency Assistance Button (“SOS”)
In the event of an emergency on the road, push the “SOS” button to reach the Safety Connect response center. The answering agent will determine your vehicle’s location, assess the emergency, and dispatch the necessary assistance required. If you accidentally press the “SOS” button, tell the response-center agent that you are not experiencing an emergency.
  • Enhanced Roadside Assistance
Enhanced Roadside Assistance adds GPS data to the already included warranty-based Toyota roadside service. Subscribers can press the “SOS” button to reach a Safety Connect response-center agent, who can help with a wide range of needs, such as: towing, flat tire, fuel delivery, etc. For a description of the Enhanced Roadside Assistance services and their limitations, please see the Safety Connect Terms and Conditions, which are available at Toyota.com in the United States, Toyotapr.com in Puerto Rico, and Toyota.ca in Canada.

Important! Read this information before using Safety Connect.

  • Exposure to radio frequency signals
The Safety Connect system installed in your vehicle is a low-power radio transmitter and receiver. It receives and also sends out radio frequency (RF) signals.
In August 1996, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) adopted RF exposure guidelines with safety levels for mobile wireless phones. Those guidelines are consistent with the safety standards previously set by the following U.S. and international standards bodies.

    • ANSI (American National Standards Institute) C95.1 [1992]
    • NCRP (National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurement) Report 86 [1986]
    • ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection) [1996]

Those standards were based on comprehensive and periodic evaluations of the relevant scientific literature. Over 120 scientists, engineers, and physicians from universities, government health agencies, and industries reviewed the available body of research to develop the ANSI Standard (C95.1). The design of Safety Connect complies with the FCC guidelines in addition to those standards.
