Additional Features
Z-FORCE 75-10X MOTOR
The DSR/X’s one-of-a-kind Z-Force 75-10X direct drive motor variant is carefully tuned for rough terrain. This motor has some of the same architecture as the 75-10, but it is made of totally different materials inside. It has 166 ft-lbs of torque and 100 hp of immediate power, so it can easily get around any obstacle and reach a top speed of 112 mph. All of this, along with Zero’s famous internal permanent magnet, brushless architecture, and a small, passively air-cooled design, makes for the best speed and efficiency in its class with almost no maintenance needed.
PLASTIC CHASSIS
The steel-trellis frame of the DSR/X is completely new, but it has some clear design similarities to some of Zero’s street bikes. The frame has been updated to make it stronger while eliminating as much weight as possible. It is also strengthened to handle any terrain. The engine is perfectly spread out, which makes for a weight-optimized or mass-centralized design. The DSR/X’s parts are also placed differently to make it better for adventure by giving it the highest ground clearance in its class at 9.7 inches. The structure of the bike and Showa’s adventure suspension make it easy to steer and move quickly. The coaxial power-pivot swingarm has also been strengthened to handle heavier loads and rougher circumstances.
LINKED BRAKES
Zero’s first model with a linked stopping system is the DSR/X. It starts working right away when it senses a loss of grip or any slippage. It is controlled by the built-in Bosch Advanced Stability Control System. The system instantly applies the right amount of pressure to both the front and back J. Juan brakes at the same time. This gives you more control when going up or down steep, loose terrain.
SEE VERY WELL
You can make your dashboard look the way you want it to or just let the best auto-contrasting light sense do all the work. The full-colour 5″ TFT display makes it easy to read the many data fields that appear when you choose the bike information you want to look at. With multi-mode navigation, you can change ride modes, cruise control, hot grip control, and a lot more all at once.
SIX-LEVEL SUSPENSION
The DSR/X has better stability for your ADV trips, so it rides smoothly on any surface or with any amount of weight. A Showa fork that is 47 mm wide has 7.4 inches of travel and can be fully adjusted. The new Showa shock also has an easy-to-use dial for adjusting the preload by hand. This makes it great for a passenger or fully loaded optional TRAX ADV cases.
