Additional Features
Z-FORCE 15.6 BATTERY PACK
The Z-FORCE 15.6 kWh lithium-ion battery requires no maintenance or upkeep and makes the DSR capable of 155 miles of city range. Riders can extend their range even farther with the available Power Tank accessory (dealer install required). The battery’s industry-leading power and energy density combined with an aluminum heat-sink housing and thermal transfer interface ensure consistent cell cooling and maximum long-term powertrain performance.
RAPID CHARGE SYSTEM
Zero’s Rapid Charge System can be set to different amounts of charging. You can change the DSR’s stock 3.3 kW charge setup to 6.6 kW. To charge even faster, riders can buy the 6kW Rapid Charging Module device and have it installed by a local dealer. This adds an extra 6kW of charge capacity. No matter what kind of charging options are built into the Zero DSR, you can always use the included EVSE cord to charge it overnight from any normal wall outlet.
LINKED BRAKES
The DSR has a braking device that is linked. It starts working right away when it senses a loss of grip or any slippage. It is controlled by the built-in Bosch Advanced Stability Control System. The system instantly applies the right amount of pressure to both the front and back J. Juan brakes at the same time. This gives you more control when going up or down steep, loose terrain.
SEE VERY WELL
You can make your dashboard look the way you want it to or just let the best auto-contrasting light sense do all the work. The full-color 5″ TFT display makes it easy to read the many data fields that appear when you choose the bike information you want to look at. With multi-mode navigation, you can change ride modes, cruise control, hot grip control, and a lot more all at once.
DIALED SUSPENSION
The DSR delivers a smooth ride fit for any terrain or load with enhanced suspension for your ADV outings. A 47-mm Showa fork offers 7.4 inches of travel and full adjustability. Also, the convenient dial for hand-adjusting preload on the new Showa shock also offers the perfect accommodation for a pillion rider or fully loaded optional TRAX ADV cases (sold separately).
Down on the rubber side
With 19″ wheels up front and 17″ wheels back, the DSR can get around almost any barrier. The Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires that come with these give them great handling on any surface. If you want to turn your DSR into a fully trail-rated off-road monster, you can get the unbeatable Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.
LIGHT THE WAY
With the custom-made full LED headlight and LED taillight with opalescent light pipe, you can see the road ahead like never before and make sure it always sees you. You can add optional LED turn and hazard lights to the 2024 DSR to make sure that your plans are seen as far away as possible in low-light conditions.
